LOS ANGELES – A stunning new twist in the Conrad Murray vs. Michael Jackson trial could possible translate into freedom for the doc.
For five weeks Dr. Murray has set in his trial chair listening to allegations that label him as “Michael Jackson’s Killer”.
According to the prosecutor, Jackson died in June 2009 from an overdoses of Propofol that was administered to him intravenously, which makes Dr. Murray responsible for the singer’s death.
But in a new twist, the testimony provided by an expert witness, may well turn all those prior allegations topsy-turfy and possibly could set the doctor free. That is of course if the jury considers the account given by expert narcotic witness Paul White, as being the ace in the hole.
White was the last witness in the five weeks old Conrad Murray trial. He was called in by the defense team and according to the Los Angeles Times, his account of Michael Jackson’s death will be presented on Monday.
Dr. Murray has always maintained he only administered a small dose of the potent drug to Jackson and according to Paul White that is most likely true.
White states that Dr. Murray most likely gave M.J. a small doses of Propofol and that Jackson gave himself a second, larger doses of the drug without the doctor’s knowledge.
If proven that Mr. White’s statement is correct, 58 year old Murray could well be set free and won’t have to serve the 4 years jail sentence and lose his medical license for life, the sentence the prosecution wants to impose.
