BEIJING – A Chinese man who undergoes a gal bladder surgery is send home with his right butt cheek tattooed.
One week after Sheng Xianhui underwent a gal bladder operation, his wife noticed a ‘strange design’ on her husband’s right butt cheek.

Sheng had already complained about the backside of his right upper thigh being a bit sensitive but shrugged the whole thing off as being an after result from the surgery he had had.
While taking a shower however, Sheng’s wife saw two Chinese symbols drawn on her husband’s upper right thigh that he didn’t have before going to the hospital.
Furiously the Chinese man went back to the hospital and demanded an explanation, removal of the tattoo and financial compensation.
The hospital director stated that the ”tattoo” was most likely the result of Sheng being allergic to the hospital’s bedding sheets and covers.
The surgeons who operated Sheng, denied any responsibility for engraving the tattoo on his behind and agreed with the hospital director that the image was probably an allergic reaction Sheng got from the bed sheets.
Upon closer inspection of the tattoo it turns out that symbols match exactly the designs imprinted on the hospital’s bedding supplies which spell out the hospital’s name.
Sheng was once again send home with the consolation that the ‘mark’ will probably disappear on its own within the next few weeks.
