Desperate Housewives stars aren’t happy with their current income of $400,000 per episode and demand they get paid more.
According to Huffington Post, actresses Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross demand a salary increase if ABC wants them to act in additional episodes. The demand comes after co-worker Terri Hatcher renewed her contract with ABC to star in the show’s newest episodes for an substantial undisclosed sum of money.
Paul Lee, head of the entertainment division at ABC says that as of yet no new money deals have been made with the stars, although it will probably happen soon.
Desperate Housewives is one of ABC’s top performers with 13 million viewers per week.
Kanye West on the other hand threw yet another hissy fit for not getting the recognition he believes he is entitled to. This time the rapper’s criticism is towards Britney Spears who’s latest single ‘Hold It Against Me!‘ outscored West’s and Jay-Z’s combined effort ‘H.A.M.‘.
According to West, his single is better than Britney’s and he wants the world to know it by posting this message on Twitter recently:
“Hey Britney, I am happy you hit the number one spot but the single released by me and Jay-Z is one of the best songs of all times!”
US Weekly reports that the jealous Tweet has since been removed, but not before Britney Spears’ manager had a chance to leave a sarcastic answer:
“Thanks for being happy for us hitting number one!” Spears’ manager posted, which lead to Kanye apologizing, posting “Don’t Be Hating in 2011!”
Keira Knightley was love-sick and decided the best remedy against a broken heart caused by the breakup with her beau Rupert Friend, was to have a night around town and let it all hang loose.
Knightley drummed up 10 girlfriends, hit a London Karaoke bar and belched out Don’t Cha (Pussycatdolls), Livin’ On A Prayer (Bon Jovi) and Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen).
It didn’t matter the entire troop had plenty to drink and sang off key, Knightley was obviously having a super time according to British tabloid The Sun.
After a few hours Keira Knightley and her ‘girls gang’ got bored and disappeared through the bar’s back door.
Owen Wilson however is on cloud nine, celebrating the birth of his handsome newborn son. The actor pretty much kept the entire pregnancy of his girlfriend Jade Duell, a secret up until one week before giving birth.
The birth of Wilson’s son is in stark contrast of a dark 2007 episode when the actor attempted to take his own life but has since been successfully treated for depression.
“Everyone is doing just fine!” a spokesperson for the Wilson’s family said.
