President Hugo Chavez Is Fighting For His Life

Maduro said Chavez is being treated at a military hospital in Caracas.

Maduro said on national television: “Our commander is ill because he gave his life to do those who have nothing.”

Hugo Chavez was first diagnosed with cancer in June 2011 and has since been operated four times. The 58 year old president made his last public appearance in December 2012, when he got ready to leave to Cuba for another operation.

Last week, the Venezuelan government announced the Hugo Chavez, who has been ruling Venezuela for forty years, has extreme breathing difficulties.
