harlem shake on board frontier airlines flight

Such was the experience passengers had on board a flight from Denver, Colorado to San Diego, California, when the Harlem Shake ‘rattled’ the plane and not a single passenger remained seated.

The video of the ‘happy role’ – see below – has been getting great reviews on line but safety experts sing a different tune and are not at all impressed with the total disregard for safety on the plane.

Allowing passengers to perform the Harlem Shake during the flight even raised the eyebrows of the United States Aviation Authorities who have stated they are going to investigate the matter.

Allen Kenitzer, spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration says: “We are especially interested at what moment the dance started.”

“Doing such a stunt 30,000 feet in the air comes with many risks,” Kenitzer’s says. “Think about a sudden drop in air pressure,” says flight expert Glen Winn.

“Allowing that many people to move and jump about in a plane creates a very dangerous situation. I am stunned the crew allowed that to happen,” Winn added.

Members of a Frisbee team began the dance on board the flight but other passengers quickly joined in.

“I don’t get what all the commotion is about. We asked the crew first and they agreed,” says Matthew Zelin, who taped the ‘happy event’.

A spokesperson for the Frontier Airlines said on behalf of the company that all safety rules were being followed during the dance.
