In a fit of rage, the man trashed everything he could get his hands on: computer, keyboard, telephone and even a poster sign.
Linkun tried repeatedly to break the glass door that would give him access to the tarmac. For several minutes the dignitary smashed things and ranted and raved. All the while not a single individual made any attempt to subdue the man or quiet him down.
The incident took place at the airport of Kunming. Linkun had already purchased airplane tickets and was enjoying breakfast with his wife before boarding.
Somehow the man, nor his wife, heard the boarding announcement over the airport intercom and continued eating. When the couple finally went to the boarding gate they were told the plane has already taken off.
That’s when Yan lost his cool and began smashing everything in sight – see video below.
Eventually an airport official shows up trying to calm Yan Linkun down. Whether or not the ‘not so cool’ dignitary and his wife were allowed to board another plane is not known at this time.
