ROME – A young man in southern Italy was beaten and thrown of a 16 foot high balcony when he was discovered in bed with the daughter of the house.

The incident took place in the coastal town of Crotone, Southern Italy.

The woman of the young couple, which was engaged to be married, had invited her soon husband to be to go home with her and share the blankets.
But when the woman’s family walked in on the couple, they didn’t care the two would soon be husband and wife. In a fury, the mother, father and brother of the woman unleashed a torrent of beatings on the young man. Then they grabbed him and threw him off a 16 foot high balcony.
The young man managed to drag himself to a nearby hospital. Doctors determined he had two broken wrists, several broken teeth and cuts, bruises and friction burns all over his body.
Mom and dad tried convincing their daughter afterwards that as devoted Catholics they had no other choice but to do what they did because ‘making love before marriage’ is taboo.
The daughter wouldn’t hear of it and called police. Police arrested Francesco Iorno (70), his wife Elena Bianchini (55) and their son Efraim (25).
The father and son have been charged with attempted murder because they threw the young man off the balcony. The mother has been charged with assault; she beat the young man with rubber hoses and wooden boards before he was thrown out the window.
Whether or not the young couple still intends to get married has not been disclosed.
