MIAMI – Drive drunk and you could end up in the brink in the US … if caught. Apparently, the same drunk driving law applies to electric shopping carts.

It happened to Timothy Carr in Brooksville, Florida who went on a joyride inside a Walmart with one of store’s electric shopping carts.

Carr liked his electric ride a lot and pulled a bottle of hard liquor from a shelve to keep him company. While guzzling down the booze, Carr drove into several merchandise stands in the store.
Eventually, the drunken Walmart tourist made it to the register. There he told the clerk he had no money to pay for the Whiskey.
Police were called in. They arrested Carr on charges of ‘public intoxication’. Carr already has two prior arrests for store theft.
