Ethan had been kept hostage in an underground bunker since last week Tuesday. Dykes simple stepped on board a school bus and demanded two children would go with him.
Bus driver Charles Albert Poland Jr. refused to cooperate with Dykes’ sinister plan and blocked the bus hallway, allowing 20 kids to escape from the emergency exit.
Dykes (65) then shot the bus driver in cold blood and snatched Ethan from the bus.
Today the week long standoff came finally to an end with a sharp shooter took Dykes’ live.
Ethan, who suffers from ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome was rescued unharmed.
