WINCHESTER – A store thief in Tennessee was caught in his act by police. Still the man left with a smiley face imprinted on his forehead.

John Archer (36) was caught stealing $US1,360 in products from a Walmart store in Winchester, Tennessee. Security personnel kept Archer under control until police arrived.

But Archer tried to escape when police wanted to arrest him. Police caught up with Archer, who began a fist-fight with the cops.
Winchester police resorted to using their batons to strike the thief, which left impressions on his forehead resemble the popular smiley face.
John Archer eventually was overpowered and arrested. In addition to being the only individual having a police mugshot showing a smiley face, Archer will also have to appear in court on February 4th.
