US Secret Service Dog Falls To His Death

The dog was engaged in checking a parking lot in Louisiana prior to arrival of US Vice President Joe Biden at a nearby hotel, when he fell from one of the top floors.

Max Millen, spokesperson for the US Secret Service calls the incident ‘a tragic and unfortunate accident’ that has never happened before. No other information about the incident was revealed.

The US Secret Service has been using dogs with their security efforts since 1975. Belgian Malinois is the dog of choice by the service because of their temperament and the ease with which these dogs adapt to different situations.

The Belgian Malinois is known as ‘a working dog’ and is preferred by authorities because they are mid-sized dogs that are strong and obedient.
