“She sees this as doing nothing wrong,” an insider from US Weekly reports. “She feels even Pavarotti did this.”

“It was freezing cold and if she would have missed one note it would have been the talk of the town. Come on, everybody does this once in a while, especially in open air. The music director even advised her to do it,” the insiders continues to say.

Stars have jumped to Beyonce’s aid and are defending her performance during the inauguration.

“Whether she lip-syncs or not it doesn’t matter,” said Alicia Keys. “We all know what a powerful voice she has and what a talented artist she is”.

Even mega star Aretha Franklin came to Beyonce’s corner, saying she found all that hoopla amusing. “It’s no joke singing in 7 degree weather. I would have probably done the same thing.”

Aerosmith lead man Steven Tyler said: “Beyonce is so darn hot, she can do what ever she likes for all I care.”
