SYDNEY – After a decisive 6-2,6-2 win over Maria Sharpova during the semi-finals match at the Australian Open, China’s top tennis player Na Li is the first woman to advance to the finals match.

Maria Sharapova, along with Serena Williams, who was send home by American new comer, 19 year old Sloane Stephens, were the two favorites to with the 2013 Australian Open.
But Na Li played one of her best games ever given the ever aggressive Sharapovo little chance while she moved fast to a 6-2,6-2, win.
This will be Na Li’s second Australian Open final which she’ll play on Saturday at the Rod Laver Arena against the winner of the Victory Azarenka vs Sloane Stephens match.
Na Li’s first attempt at the Australian Open victory was in 2011 but she lost the finals match against now retired Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters.
Na Li, 30, won her first slam three years ago at Roland Garros in Paris. Will she add a second slam to her name on Saturday?
The Chinese tennis star is being trained by none other than Carlos Rodriguez. The same Belgian coach, from Argentine descend, who trained retired Belgian tennis player Justin Henin, who won the Australian Open 3 times while under Rodriguez’ guidance.
Those who have seen Na Li play she certainly has a super chance taking home the 2013 Australian Open, claiming Li is playing some of the best tennis of her entire career and despite her age, is more athletic than ever before.
