MOSCOW – A two year old baby must have had several angels watching over it on Sunday when it was thrown from its mother’s vehicle and landed on the opposite lane of a busy interstate road with a big rig barreling towards it.

A mother loses control of her vehicle on a busy interstate road in Moscow. Snow and frost made the road dangerous to drive. A man in his vehicle who happens to have a dashcam rolling, captures the entire hair-raising accident on video (see below).

The car glides out of control over both lanes and ends up crashing into an oncoming big rig. The impact of the crash not only demolishes the back of the woman’s car but throws the baby out of the vehicle from the popped side window.
The baby lands on the pavement in the lane of oncoming traffic. Up ahead a big rig is thundering towards the child that lays helpless on the open road.
The 18 wheeler races towards the child at high speed. At the last minute the Scania truck driver notices the toddler on the road. He slams on the brakes and swerves his truck every so slightly to avoid getting jackknifed in the bad weather.
The camera captures how the last wheel of the truck barely misses the baby by just inches. Then the mother gets out of her vehicle, rushes to her baby, and plucks her off the open road.
The two year old miraculously only suffered a few bruises and a minor cut to her head. She was taken to the CRH Lyskovo Hospital where she received treatment.
