But at a 880 yuan per night, about $US135, the chambers of lust aren’t cheap considering the average monthly salary in China is just 4672 yuan or about $US718.
The rooms are fitted with a round bed, a posh, comfy couch, erotic art, porn and educational videos and games. There are ‘make pretend’ outfits the couples can wear such as doctor’s or airline stewardess uniforms.
Fertility experts are on hand to guide couples, give them advice or answer general questions.
Hospital director Wang Shengdong expects the rooms will be very much in demand. “Many Chinese do not fully comprehend that to get pregnant they must also consider technique,” says Shengdong.
“Besides more and more people are under stress. Our sex rooms are designed to relax them again and stimulate their senses,” according to Shengdong.
