NEW YORK – Former Tour de France cycling champ Lance Armstrong allegedly wants to confess that he indeed was using performance enhancement drugs during his lustrous biking career.

New York Times writes that according to ‘people in the know about the situation’, Armstrong is hoping he’ll be given his sports carrier back after admitting to doping.
The USADA released a devastating report last year indicating systematic doping by the Armstrong cycling team which was sponsored by the United States Postal Service.
Armstrong, who has always denied the doping allegations, also refused to defend himself against the USADA.
A source at the NYT reports Lance Armstrong is currently in negotiations with the USADA and the world anti-doping organization WADA.
Tim Herman, Armstrong’s lawyer, denies this but refuses to comment further.
“It’s up to Lance to say something about that,” Herman said.
