ROCKLIN – Two teenagers in Rocklin California have been arrested after one of them fed her parents sleeping medicine so they could stay on the internet longer.

Police said, the teen found her parents were too strict by not allowing her on the internet after 10:00 PM. That’s why she put sleeping medicine, she’d gotten from her friend, in her parents’ milkshakes.

Fortunately, the parents only drank a quarter of the potent concoction because their shakes didn’t taste right. However, the amount they consumed was enough to put them to sleep.
When the parents of the teen woke up the next morning they suspected they were drugged.
That’s when they called police and the story unraveled.
The teens will remain in custody until they face a judge next week.
