Apple Store Robbed In Paris

PARIS – Things aren’t starting of well for Apple in 2013. First the company has been ordered by a Chinese court to pay money to 7 Chinese writers for violating their copyrights, on New Year’s eve one of Apple’s prime stores in Paris, France, was robbed at gun point.

According to local police the thieves got away with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. The hold up took place in Apple’s largest store, located just behind the Opera House in Paris.

Allegedly, armed, masked men forced their way into the mega-store after closing hours, liquidated as much merchandise as they could grab and disappeared in a get-away van that was waiting for them outside.

Police refused to comment that the robbers got away with over one million dollars of Apple inventory. However, they aren’t denying it either.

According to a reliable source, Apple isn’t yet exactly sure how much inventory the store is missing. Personnel is still in the process of tallying up all products.

The thieves are still at large.
