A spokesperson for the prison says they are actively looking for individuals who are willing to do fun things with the murderer while he’s incarcerated.
Norwegian media announced the rather ‘bizarre’ story on Thursday. Allegedly, Breivik will not spend his time with other prisoners but will be kept in isolation under heavy guard to avoid possibly being beaten or killed by other inmates.
Because the ‘single’ cell is a lonely place, prison authorities want to easy the murder’s stay by giving him contact with other individuals who simply want to spend recreation time with him.
The prison is currently considering using guards to play sports with Breivik or “hire” people for the sole purpose of playing chest or other games with Norwegian’s worst killer.
On July 22 2011, Anders Breivik committed two attacks in Norway, one in the city of Oslo and one at the island of Utoya, that left 77 people dead.
Since that time, Breivik has been held in custody and has undergone extensive psychiatric evaluations to determine if he is sane or not.
Breivik has always maintained he is mentally fit and although he regrets killing so many people, he claims he did what needed to be done to “safe” Norway.
He wrote an extensive dissertation about his believes that foreigners are ‘invading’ Norway and turning the country into an ‘alien’ state.
If Anders Breivik is found guilty of mass murder, who could spend the next 21 years behind bars; the maximum Norwegian sentence for murder in the first degree.
