NEW YORK – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was admitted to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan for a blood clot. Doctors have determined the clot is in a vein wedged between her brain and her skull but they predict Mrs Clinton will make a full recovery.

A scan revealed Mrs Clinton has a right transverse sinus venous thrombosis, or a clot in the vein in the space between the brain and the skull behind the right ear.
The blood clot was discovered on Sunday during a follow up examination after she suffered a concussion earlier this month. Fortunately, it hasn’t resulted in a stroke or any neurological damage.
Mrs Clinton (65) sustained a concussion when she fell on December 15. It was reported at the time she had been dehydrated while suffering from a stomach virus.
