(NDJ) – December 11th is reported to be the day that woman are the most prone to getting pregnant, according to a study conducted in the UK.

Scientists say that winter months are the best months for pregnancy because during those months a man’s sperm is of better quality than during the summer months.
Additionally, couples also have more sex during the winter months because of holidays, festivities and end of year celebrations.
Neal Slateford, founder of LoveHoney, the site that released these statistics, says that on December 11 more sex games are purchased as well.
“December is always a ‘fruitful’ and ‘productive’ month because couples want to spoil one another during Christmas.”
Remarkably there seems to be truth in the findings: More children are born on September 16 world wide than any other day of the year.
Counting 40 weeks for an average pregnancy terms that means these children were all conceived on December 11.
