TORONTO – A monkey wearing a thick winter coat and diaper was spotted running around at the Ikea parking lot on Sunday in Toronto Canada.

Witnesses said the monkey was wearing a shearling coat and it was clear this was a tamed but scared ape.

The 7-month-old simian monkey allegedly was left in a cage in a car while its owners went shopping at Ikea but managed to free itself from the cage and the car and hit the parking lot looking for its owners.
The stylish monkey has since become an internet sensation and has its own Twitter account since security cameras caught the dapper animal on video.
Although having monkeys as house pets is forbidden in Toronto, the ape was quickly reunited with its rightful owners.
However, the owner faces a charge for having a prohibited animal and could pay a $240 fine.
