DAMASCUS – 29 students and 1 teacher were killed when their school was attacked by a range of mortar shells in Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The attacked occurred at fugitive camp in a suburb of Damascus. 25,000 fugitive, who were driven from Golan Heights during Israel’s occupancy in 1967, live in the camp.
