A man from Dallas bid $US101,575 for the 1928 film poster of Disney’s all time favorite character Mickey Mouse. The poster is one of the few ‘still intact’ Mickey Mouse film posters in existence today.

The color poster bears the slogan ‘The world’s funniest cartoon character‘ and shows a smiling and waving Mickey Mouse.

The poster came from a collection belonging to someone who passed away recently.
