BRUSSELS – Travelers on board a JetAirFly airplane, on route from Mexico to Brussels, Belgium, won’t soon forget their trip with a dead man on board.

254 passengers on board flight JAF 208 were headed back to Belgium from vacationing in Cancun, Mexico on Wednesday, when suddenly one of the travelers didn’t feel well and shortly thereafter suffered a massive heart attack, 25,000 feet in the air.
Crew members and a “passenger nurse” administered first aid while the pilot rerouted to plane for an emergency landing to Shannon, Ireland, where a doctor made the grim confirmation that the passenger, who was traveling with his wife, had died.

The remaining passengers were asked to exit the plane and wait for a new flight to take them to their final destination in Brussels which is scheduled to arrive with a 6 hours delay.
