Rumors have it the Serbian ‘All Star’ is ‘forced’ to be bone skinny because sponsors demand it.
The 24 year old brushes all the hoopla to the side saying she doesn’t look as thin as people think but admits she’s lost ‘some’ weight and blames it on her busy and hectic schedule.
“I don’t think I lost a lot of weight,” says Ivanovic.
“I worked really hard this year, traveled a lot and went through some stressing times. OK, I may have neglected myself a bit but the season is almost over and things will be much more relaxing letting me regain some weight.”
Ana admits that being ‘skinny’ in pro-tennis isn’t a good thing for her career, saying that she won’t have as much power in her swings.
“I need to gain some weight because as an aggressive player my power swings are crucial.”
The Serbian beauty currently ranks 12th on the WTA world list. She won her first and only Grand Slam in 2008 at Roland Garos, Paris.
