HOLLYWOOD – He has the eyes, he has the look. He has the smile and the charm. He has the talent and the grace. What you may not know about superstar John Travolta is that his hair dos aren’t really his own – most of the time.
Yes, giant screen actor John Travolta who has appeared with over 100 different hair styles in his movies almost always wore wigs. It’s been said the actor owns 102 wigs in different styles, hair length and color, that he wears at various times.
John Travolta is well known for wanting to appear tip-top all the time. But even Hollywood superstars aren’t immune to hair loss. And Travolta, STAR Magazine reports, is one actor with a thinning hair line, for whom wigs are a perfect fit in his daily grooming plan to look his best.
The actor did undergo several hair transplants without much luck. Thus his need for wigs. Travolta keeps his many wigs in a specialized cool area to avoid damage. According one of his assistants, Travolta wears the wigs to combat further hair loss.

According to the “Daily Mirror”, a paparrazzi took a picture of the actor driving his car being completely bold. Yet two days thereafter, Travolta was seen exciting a Scientology Gala sporting lush, thick black hair.
Says the Daily Mirror:
“From bold to a full head of thick hair in only two days. It’s a miracle!”
In a 2007 interview with “USA Today” while talking about his movie “Hairspray”, Travolta revealed that he felt very sexy wearing wigs.
