The result of the fast and furious sales has led to major back orders of the new iPhone which can now take up to 14 days or longer before being delivered.
That has led to a new buying frenzy and price hike that is ‘out of this world’.
on eBay iPhone 5 cellphones can still be purchased but for double the price of Apple’s retail price.
The top of the line iPhone 5 model is offered on the auction site for $US1,650.
