The woman packed her suitcase and flew to her destination without problems. Once at her hotel room in Orlando, she opened her suitcase to unpack and much to her surprise, her 14 months old kitten jumped out, still purring.
Maze says that somehow her cat ‘Bob-Bob’ got in her suitcase while she was packing at home in Ohio and hid under her clothes and she never notice him.
But amazingly, the bag was checked through security at the Port Columbus International Airport in Ohio and no one there noticed Bob-Bob either.
Mike Groleau, who works at the Ohio airport, said he thought he saw the suitcase move at some point but decided to send it through anyway.
Ohio airport Transportation and Security Administration defended its security measures claiming that when they check bags they are looking for security threats such as weapons – not pets.
“We would not necessarily have the ability to look for or to identify a pet if it were inside a checked bag,” the administration said
Other than being shaken about a bit from traveling 921 miles inside the suitcase, Bob-Bob the cat, was alive and well and full of pep.
We gather the cat wanted to see Disney World too.
