Experts are convinced that global travelers coming from Australia will bring the flu virus with them and spread it throughout Europe and the Americas.

An increase in global air travel has made for a faster and world wide spread of viruses from one continent to another with relative ease.

The spread of viruses increases even more when one continent is ending a virus epidemic while it is just beginning in another location.

Such is the case with the nearing of the end of flu season in Australia vs. the beginning of the flu season in Europe and America.

Additionally, residents living in beginning flu season areas have not yet build up enough resistance to the virus thereby being much more susceptible to contracting the illness.
