LOS ANGELES – A South Los Angeles woman must go through life wearing prostheses on both her arms and her legs after a botched butt implant went horribly wrong.

April Brown went to a ‘back alley’ cosmetic surgeon to have her buttocks enhanced giving int a fuller, firmer and contoured shape.
Brown was injected with what she was told was Botox. In reality, the woman received commercial grade silicon injections which are highly toxic.
Not long after the injections, the fashion designer began to experience serious infections in her body which led to amputation of both her legs and the frontal portions of both arms.
Brown, is despite her ordeal, upbeat and wants to warn the world to stay away from ‘witch doctors’ who are only after the money.

She warns anyone to thoroughly check the doctor’s background and credential before embarking on any body modification, no matter who small it may be.
April Brown now works as a motivational speaker.
