Girl Missing For 13 Yrs Now Found

LIMA – The bodily remains of a girl that went missing 13 years ago in Ohio have been found.

Nicholle Coppler was just 14 years old when she was last seen at the residents of Glen Fryer 13 years ago. Early investigations didn’t solve the teens disappearance however until last month.

While demolishing a in Lima, Ohio, workers uncovered human remains that could be identified by the remaining teeth as belonging to Nicholle Coppler.

For Nicholle’s mother, Krista, years of uncertainty, not knowing if her daughter was still alive, have finally come to an end.

In 2002, 2 years after Nicholle was last seen, Krista wrote a letter to Lima Post in Ohio venting her frustration with the little headway the detectives had made in her daughter’s disappearance.

“I knew right away that is had to do with Nicholle,” said Krista.

“All these years we asked ourselves: who, why, what, why? All kinds of things went through our heads. Maybe now we can close that chapter in serenity.”

Detective state however that maybe there won’t be any closing for the Coppler family just yet as authorities have begun a new investigation to uncover who murdered Nicholle.

Fryer had long been the number one suspect. Lack of evidence and his constant claim that he was innocent made it impossible for police to clearly charge him with murdering the teen.

In 2002 Fryer committed suicide at the age of 55. Reportedly the underlying cause was the constant blame by authorities that had murdered the girl.

Detectives said that possibly Fryer didn’t act alone however and that’s why a new investigation has begun into Nicholle’s murder. Two of Fryer’s former roommates have come forth making that allegation.

Since Nicholle Coppler disappeared 13 years ago, 179 people were interrogated in connection with her disappearance. No one has ever been charged with her murder.
