iPhone Maker Foxconn Hacked

BEIJING – Hacking group Swagg Security says it has infiltrated the Taiwan based iPhone and iPad manufacturer Foxconn and ‘taken all there was to take’.

Reportedly, the group managed to take passwords belonging to Foxconn’s top customers such as IBM, Dell, Intel, Apple and Microsoft.

The hackers say they are now able to create ‘fake’ orders with with the company that can’t be differentiated from real orders.

An Apple insider has confirmed that the site ‘services.foxconn.com’ has been taken off line after Foxconn suspected that indeed ‘fake’ orders may have been placed.

Swagg security says it is ‘disappointed with slave like conditions Foxconn’s workers are subjected to’ but adds that that was not their reason for breaking into the company’s site.

The hacking group states they hacked Foxconn because of ‘the hilarity that ensues when compromising and destroying an infrastructure’.

Foxconn has been under the spotlight lately for allegedly ‘mistreating’ its employees and protests held in front of Apple stores against the company’s ethics, have begun to grow across the United States, including in New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Bangalore, London and Sydney.
