BREMEN – A security camera captures the chilly moments of a man kidnapping a 7 year old girl in Bremen, Georgia, U.S..
Luckily, the girl was brave and tried desperately getting out of the man’s grip. She eventually succeeded. The kidnapper was later apprehended.
Still, the images are shocking and reveal just how easy (and quick) kidnappers go to work in places you would least expect it.

Thomas Woods (25) snatched the girl right out from the toy department in a Wall Mart store in Bremen on Wednesday. He grabbed her from behind and placed his hand over her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
Fortunately, little Brittney Baxter kept on wrestling and kicking and Woods was forced to let her go.

“He started talking to me while I was looking at the toys,” says the brave girl.
“I told him I was going to look where my mammy was. That’s when he grabbed me. I kicked as hard as I could.”
Britney’s mom, Georgeann, who was in an other area of the store says:
“I went totally nuts when I heard what had happened. I couldn’t believe my ears.”
Police were called in who managed to catch the perpetrator a few moments later. At the time of the kidnapping, Woods was on probation for voluntary manslaughter.
Despite solid proof from security cameras, Woods maintained he was never in the store where the kidnapping took place.
Woods is currently in custody awaiting arraignment. Britney is doing very well despite her horrendous ordeal.
