LONDON – British teenager Stacey Irvine says she is absolutely nuts about chicken nuggets and has been eating the fried delectable almost exclusively since she was two years old.
But at 17 years old, the mono-sized diet of just chicken nuggets has finally caught up with the teen’s health.
Stacey was admitted to the hospital after she collapsed earlier this week. She was rushed to the hospital suffering from breathing difficulties.
Doctors diagnosed her condition as anemia and warned Stacey that unless she changes her eating habits, the nuggets she loves so very much, will actually kill her.

In addition to having anemia, the doctors also discovered that the veins in Stacey’s tongue were swollen which caused the teen to suffer from breathing problems.
The teen was immediately treated with vitamin injections.
Already back at home, resting comfortably, and despite the stern health warning, the teenager has only one thing on her mind: munching on a batch of crispy tender chicken nuggets.
Stacey admits that she is addicted to the breaded and fried chicken bits and that for the past 15 years she hasn’t eaten any vegetables or fruits.
“These nuggets from McDonald’s are my favorite,” claims Stacey.
“But I also love those from KFC or from the supermarkets. My dinner is always chicken nuggets every day.”
Stacey’s mom says she’s at wits end and worries about her daughter’s health. Despite the doctors warned the nugget diet will kill her, she says her daughter continues to eat them every day saying she can’t eat anything else.
The mother says she actually tried ‘starving’ Stacey in an attempt to have her eat other things because she would be really hungry, but that failed.
In addition to Stacey not eating properly, her mother says her daughter is also collection all those toys she gets with each chicken nuggets she orders. Already she’s filled up four trash bags with that stuff, according to Stacey’s mom.
