Woman Refuses To Get Out Of Stuck Car

BURLEY – When Lynn Keesler drove her car in a muddy pond in Idaho on January 15th, she did exactly what someone once told her she should do when her came got stuck.

Keesler stayed put in her car and refused to get out of her vehicle, even though she easily could have. The muddy pond was only inches deep and a grassy hill was only a few feet away.

But 61 year old Keesler took the advice she was given to heart and didn’t budge from her car. The first night of her ordeal, she flashed the lights and sounded the car horn to draw attention until eventually the battery went dead.

Then for an additional four days, the woman stayed in her car, living off M&Ms and bottled water. Eventually she decided to get out of the car, but only after she noticed that the water in the shallow pond had began to rise.

She then climb onto the small hill, found a home, knocked on the door and that’s when the homeowners called for help.

When paramedics arrived they offered to take the senior to a nearby hospital to ensure she was alright.

To that the bullheaded woman responded: “I don’t need a hospital. All I need is a warm bath and a bed”.

Keesler ended up in the pond on January 15th after she got lost looking for a hotel in Burley, Idaho.

She stayed glued in her car till January 20th only because someone once told her that’s exactly what she should do if her car ever got stuck somewhere.
