LONDON – Olympic Games officials have made the announcement that even babies must have their own ticket to attend the 2012 games.

For some parents that will be a big dilemma considering there babies weren’t even born when they purchased the entry tickets and reportedly, all tickets to the 2012 Olympic Games in London have been sold.

Game officials have said that additional tickets will be made available for purchase to accommodate the toddlers.

Parents are angry because they have been told by the organization that they must pay the adult purchase price, despite the entry passes to the games are for babies.

And although the organization has stated extra tickets will be made available, parents wonder if these tickets are for the big events they wish to attend.

One woman responded on a website saying: “This is the biggest rip off in the history of London”.

Another person wrote: “This is ridiculous, some people bought tickets before they even got pregnant. How do they expect us to buy tickets for someone who doesn’t even exist yet?”

Yet one more woman said: “Some women may not be able to attend the games because their babies may still need to be breastfed. Are these women getting a refund?”

A spokesperson for the games admitted to Huffington Post that the organization has already received a lot of “not so pleasant” phone calls from mothers and fathers whose newborn will only be a few weeks old during the 2012 Olympic Games.

The spokesperson said they were upset they have to buy an additional adult ticket for their baby or the child won’t be permitted to attend.
