HOLLYWOOD – Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday night.
Her sister called emergency services after Heather had allegedly taken a dangerous dose of liquor and medication.
Locklear (50) is reportedly still broken up over her breakup with former co-actor Jack Wagner.
The actress was still conscious when paramedics arrived who decided it was best that she underwent a complete medical checkup in a hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, “hospital personnel is keeping a close eye on her”.
Locklear who has had an on then off again relationship with Wagner for more than four years was set to marry him on November 15 last year. But at the last minutes, plans for a wedding got cancelled.

It would have been Heather’s third marriage. She was once married to Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee and Bon Jovi-gitarist Richie Sambora with whom she has a thirteen year old daughter Ava Elizabeth.
Locklear’s career hasn’t been flourish much either. In 2009 there was talk to revive Melrose Place with Heather playing the femme fatal and bitch Amanda Woodward once again, but those plans were quickly drowned.
Heather Locklear who also acted in TJ Hooker, Dynasty and Spin City is recovering.
No one at the hospital was available to comment on her condition or when she may be allowed to return home.
