An Australian bungee jumper can thank her guardian angel that she is still amongst the living after her bungee cord snapped and she plunged head first into a crocodile river.
Never could have bungee jumper Erin Laung Worth imagined that her jump from the Victoria Falls bridge, 340 feet above above the river on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia would end with her having to swim for her life to avoid being eaten by hungry crocodiles.
Erin was tied by her feet and jumped from the bridge in a diving style, when the bungee cord suddenly snapped some 80 feet above the river.
The Aussie dove head first and full force in the frigged water below. Miraculously, Worth survived the plunge but was far from safe.

The river is notoriously infested with hungry crocodiles and Fell was certainly a meal these crocs didn’t want to miss.
With her feet still tied together, the woman had to swim with all her might to reach the riverbank before the crocodiles got a hold of her and tear her to bits.
Amazingly, with the hungry predators only feet away, Erin managed to pull herself out of the river.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors were stunned to learn about her “supernatural” escape from death.
Luckily she suffered only minor injuries and is actually capable of retelling the escapade that nearly cost her her life.
“I landed with my legs tied and then had to swim to the Zimbabwe side (of the river) through the rapids.
It was quite scary because a couple of times the rope actually got caught on some rocks or debris.
I actually had to swim down and yank the bungee cord out of whatever it was caught on to make it to the surface.”
