LONDON – A 27 year old woman and her 28 year old boyfriend are standing trial in the U.K. for killing the woman’s 15 year old brother.
The older sister and her boyfriend allegedly were convinced that the boy was possessed by evil spirits and decided to perform rituals that would drive the evil from the boy.
Somewhere the ‘removal of bad spirits’ went horribly wrong and the boy died from more than 100 injuries his sister and her friend had intentionally inflicted on him.
The sister defends her action in court however saying that she and her friend were only trying to help her brother by performing rituals that expell evil spirits. According to the sister, her brother was possessed by the devil.
The crime came to light when the sister called 911 telling them her brother had drowned himself in the bathtub.
According to the prosecutor of the case, the young man suffered unimaginable cruelty and violence and witnesses say the child asked many times for his sister to stop and save his life.
Allegedly, the boy was so severely tortured that he eventually asked the couple to pull the trigger and put him out of his misery.
The police discovered several dozen blood covered knives, chisels and pliers that were most likely used to torture the teen. Tracks of blood belonging to the lad were everywhere in the apartment as were several teeth belonging to the boy.
The perpetrators are from the Congo, Africa and followers of the Kindoki religion, where the practice of expelling evil spirits is one of the focal points of that believe.
