NEW YORK – A prisoner has come forth saying he shot famous Hip Hop artist Tupac Shakur in 1994.
A man who is in prison for life made the stunning confessionn saying he shot 2Pac in 1994 at the request of a talent scout. New York police say they are very interested in interrogating that prisoner.
Tupac Shakur, an outspoken, flamboyant individuals was a rising star in the Hip Hop/Rap music world. He sold more than 75 mill. albums worldwide, played movie roles opposite Janette Jackson and was named the 86th greatest artist in the world by Rolling Stone magazine.

Tupac Shakur, aka 2Pac, was shot and killed on Sept. 13 1996 in Las Vegas Nevada. His murder is still unsolved
He grew up in East Harlem, New York; a rough neighborhood, and reflected those experiences in his songs, music, videos and movies.
Allegedly Shakur was in New York in 1994 visiting Biggie Smalls when he was ambushed in the elevator and shot five times. Miraculously Shakur survived the attack despite being shot in the head twice.
At first 2Pac blamed Sean Combs, Andre Harrell and Biggie Smalls for the set up that nearly killed him. Law enforcement has never been able to prove this allegation and none of the men have ever been charged for the crime.
On Thursday, a man sitting in prison has come forth, saying he was the shooter in 1994 and says he was hired by a talent agent to ‘get rid off’ Shakur.
Dexter Isaac (46), the prisoner, has written a statement on AllHipHop.com in which he apologizes for trying to kill the rapper.
In his note Isaac points fingers at James ‘Jimmy Henchman’ Rosemond as being the man who ordered him to kill Tupac Shakur and says he was paid $2,500 to commit the crime on November 30 1994.
James Rosemond has long been a suspect in the shooting of Tupac at the Quad Studios in New York but he has never been found guilty.
Lawyers of Rosemond have come forth saying that Isaac’s ‘confession’ is a revenge ploy by the prisoner because their client called him a trader and claim that Isaac’s statement is plain rubbish.
Isaac was sent to jail for a ‘hired killing’ he committed in Brooklyn New York in 1997
Rosemond is on the run from the FBI. He is wanted for drug trafficking.
Tupac Shakur was gunned down on September 13th 1996 in Las Vegas. His murder remains unsolved.
